Tego Calderon

One of the new sounds making it's way into the U.S. is spanish reggae, also known as Reggaeton. And when you talk about Reggaeton one of the people you have to talk about is Tego Calderon, he is definitly of the most popular reggaeton artist on the market and now is making his way to America's mainstream. After establishing himself in Latin American and Carribean islands, Tego is now starting to show up little by little in the english music industry. Doing cameos in music vdeos, featuring on other artist song and doing remixes to songs that already came out to appearing on magazine covers like Fader, doing interviews on MTV and sell out shows across the U.S. Even going on tour with two mainstream rappers Chingy and Jkwon. Tego Calderon recentally particpated in a Latino Hip-Hop Summit, which encouraged young Latinos to vote in this upcoming election. Tego was there along-side Russell Simmons.
